The BizSchool Alumni and Mentors meetings will take place on a Friday afternoon at GIBS at 15:30 for 16:00 until 18:00. There will be a speaker or presentation on a relevant topic, a time for discussion and then a chance to meet with your mentor.
 
The meetings are there to help and encourage you and to give you an opportunity to continue growing.  Those who attend all the alumni meetings will:
1.  Be given preferential place on the BizSchool leadership programme - so if you are keen to be a leader at this year's BizSchool - make sure you attend the meetings. 
2. One person who attends the alumni meetings will be given a chance to join the BizSchool Board at the end of 2012. 
3. You will also receive a written reference from BizSchool and your mentor if you attend all the meetings, which will look great on your CV.
 
The mentors will be assigned at the first meeting (so make sure you are there!) The mentors are professionals who will meet with you at each Alumni meeting. They will be available for you to contact during 2012 and their role will be to support and advise you in 2012.  It is a role that they will take VERY seriously and if you would like a mentor we expect you to take it seriously too.
